Industrial Fire Training Consultants, a Nashville-based company providing on site fire and emergency services training, has announced a change in name, location and management effective in mid-December.

“Don’t Panic!” a press release issued by IFTC states. “There will be very few changes and out service to you will continue seamlessly.”

With the pending retirement of long time president/owner and chief training officer Rick Duffy, IFTC is changing its name to Industrial Emergency Response Training, Inc. Ray McDonald will take charge as the new president/owner and chief training officer.

Duffy will serve as a consultant and part-time trainer with IERT, the press release states.

Regarding location, IERT is closing its suburban Nashville office in La Vergne and moving its operations to new offices near Lawrenceburg, TN, near the Mississippi border.

“Our bookkeeping will continue as before reflecting the changes in ownership, company name and address, email addresses and telephone numbers,” the release states.
