Smoke continued to pour from a Profile Products paper recycling plant Wednesday in Limestone, Tennessee, nearly 24 hours after fire broke out.

“The Fire Department has remained on site as smoldering raw material (paper) is removed from site,” a press released issued by the company to WJHI states. “Damage appears to have been limited to one lift truck and no other damage is reported therefore we anticipate being fully operational in a few days.”

Profile Products said they were thankful for the prompt response from emergency services and that no injuries were reported.

Washington County Emergency Management Director Rusty Sells told WCYB that heavy equipment was taken inside to move smoldering bales of paper aside to reach the fire.
