Firefighters transported one employee overcome by smoke to the hospital after fire broke out Thursday at a recycling plant in Portet-sue-Garonne, France, specializing in plastics used in medical X-rays.
Two other employees suffering smoke inhalation were treated at the scene, the Facebook page for the Haute-Garonne Fire Brigade states.
The first alarm for the 120 square meter industrial building came in shortly after noon. A mutual aid request brough assistance from nearby Muret Massat, Ramonville Buchens, Toulouse Lougnon, Toulouse Vion Colomiers and Rouffiac-Tolosan.
