If you're reading this, you're likely reading the inaugural The IFW Bulletin newsletter, or you're browsing the newly relaunched IndustrialFireWorld.com website. So welcome!

If you're a longtime reader of the IFW magazine, you've likely noticed some changes. And we hope you approve.

Industrial Fire World, which was acquired by Bobit Business Media in September of last year, is now one element of a comprehensive approach to provide industrial responders and other firefighters with the best training, information, and resources in the marketplace.

IFW is now part of iFIRE International, a brand that also includes four annual training events. Bobit Business Media launched iFIRE International in October as part of the acquisition of IFW. Former fire chief Tim Sendelbach has been hired as Vice President and Chief of Public Safety Operations to lead the initiative.

"IFW connects with an established segment of the fire service that has long been focused on technology and advanced fire protection systems," Sendelbach has said. "To serve as the medium in which these professionals receive the latest information, products and services is at the core of Bobit's mission and it is why the acquisition of IFW made sense for us."

The IFW Bulletin newsletter will support these efforts with a monthly edition that includes after-action reporting, training opportunities, product information, and updates about the our training events, including the return of the Industrial Fire World Conference & Exposition, which returns in September after a 10-year hiatus.

You'll want to bookmark our new website (industrialfireworld.com), so you can keep checking back for updates that will help firefighters in their critical public safety mission.
