Machinery Kills Woman Working at Raisin Processing Facility

Loose clothing snagged by processing equipment caused the death of a worker Friday morning at a raisin processing plant in Sanger, California, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office Facebook page states.

Yaneth Lopez Valladares, 33, suffered severe injuries and died at the scene. This happened despite immediate action by co-workers to shut down the machinery.

An investigator with the state's Department of Occupational Health and Safety reported to the scene to take over the investigation.
