The Green Bay, Wisconsin, Fire Department responds to a chemical plant fire Thursday.

Fireproofing materials is one of the principle products made by a company owning a chemical plant in Green Bay, Wisconsin, that reported a fire Thursday evening.

Responders made quick work of it, extinguishing the fire at Carboline Coatings within 20 minutes.

Upon arriving at about 7:20 p.m., responders found an interior chemical fire on the manufacturing floor involving combustible liquids, the department’s Facebook page states. Due to the nature of the fire, additional alarms were sounded immediately.

All employees found their way to safety with only one civilian injury reported. The dollar value of the loss was set at $150,000.

The Green Bay Metro Hazardous Materials Team also responded to the scene.
