A fire at an animal feed factory in Kagoshima City, Japan, destroyed one building and damaged two adjacent structures Monday night.
The fire broke out at the Kagoshima Profoods plant located near Taniyama Port, a passenger ship terminal, KYT Television reports. At about 10 p.m., a worker reported that fire had broken out in a dryer and was spreading through the building.
One worker who joined with others in fighting the fire was later treated for mild smoke inhalation.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze in about an hour, losing one single-story building to the flames.
