A shock absorber factory burned in Mexico Wednesday.

Firefighters in central Mexico labored two hours to extinguish a blaze that damaged a warehouse at a shock absorber factory Wednesday afternoon.

A wildfire started on neighboring property swept up the factory in El Salto, Jalisco, the Proteccion Civil Jalisco states via Facebook. The flames reached a warehouse filled with plastic and wooden pallets.

Smoke from the fire was visible from several kilometers away, local press reports. Joining the El Salto firefighters were responders from Zapopan, GDL, Tlaquepaque and Tlajomulco.
