Firefighters spent two hours Thursday night battling a paper mill fire in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, that jeopardized the production of much needed toilet paper.

At 6:42 p.m. a commercial fire alarm activated at Cascade Tissue, the Clarks Summit Fire Company reports via Facebook. Before a ladder truck dispatched to the scene could arrive the alarm was elevated to a commercial structure fire with additional units sent.

Upon arrival firefighters deployed the ladder truck to allow responder to access the plant roof and perform ventilation. Meanwhile, other firefighters entered Area 8 of the plant to locate the fire.

No employees or firefighters were injured.
