Fire swept through a warehouse at a factory for recycling used cooking oil Sunday night at an industrial park in Merida, Mexico.
Thousands of plastic containers used to collect the oil from restaurants were destroyed, the owner told local media.
“Seeing the flames consume your present and your future leaves you feeling powerless,” owner Angel Rodriguez told el Periodico Extremadura.
First reported at 11:15 p.m., the fire took four hours to bring under control.
