A plastics recycling plant in Fuente Alamo, Spain, went up in flames Saturday.

Flames destroyed a plastics recycling plant Saturday morning in southeastern Spain, bringing firefighters together from across the Murcia region.

At 7:20 a.m., fire broke out at the recycling factory in Fuente Alamo. With flames threatening to spread to neighboring homes and businesses, authorities ordered the area evacuated.

No injuries were reported. Firefighters responded to the scene from Alhama de Murcia, Molina de Segura, Lorca, Alcantarilla, Cartagena and Mar Menor-Las Alcazares, Murcia Today reports.

A helicopter was also dispatched from the air force base in Alcantarilla.
