Fire consumed nearly a third of the 250 tons of vinyl waste accumulated at a recycling plant in Seolseong, South Korea, Sunday evening.
The compressed vinyl waste was stored inside a warehouse of less than 500 square meters, local media reports.
No injuries were reported. The fire, first reported at 7 p.m., proved to be extremely stubborn to extinguish, firefighters said.
