An explosion followed by high flames roared through a label printing plant Saturday evening in southern Italy, local media reports.
Witnesses report that flames engulfed the plant in Scafati within minutes of an explosion. With the flames came a thick column of black smoke with the potential environmental danger to the community being accessed.
The plant specialized in label for canned goods, media reports.
