Firefighters used nearly 10,000 liters of water to extinguish a plastics plant fire Monday night in central Bolivia, the website El Deber reports.
At around 8 p.m., a fire alarm at the plant about three kilometers from Sacaba drew five fire trucks from multiple fire agencies. Homes near the factory were evacuated as a precaution.
Within two hours, firefighters extinguished the flames with no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
