A fire truck deck gun is turned on the smoking remains of a tire recyling plant in India.

A five-hour fire severely damaged a tire recycling plant Saturday night in the Bhilwara district of Jahazpur, India, local media report.

First spotted by a police patrol at nearly midnight, the fire at Lohia Tire Factory burned long into Sunday morning. Along with firefighters from Jahazpur, mutual aid assistance was requested from nearby Jaanpur and Deoli.

The fire spread through a large inventory of tires at the location. Damage has been estimated at one crore rupees, or approximately $132,500.

No injuries were reported.
