One worker is dead after a fire broke out Wednesday at a refinery in Tehran, Iran, a press release issued by the Tehran Oil Refinery Company states.
Another worker was injured by the fire, the release states.
Hamid Reza Jafari, public relations for the refinery, told Fars news agency that leaking gasoline in a process unit ignited, killing a person nearby. The other worker injured required minor treatment and is in good condition, he said.
The fire was subsequently contained with no interruption in production, Jafari told Fars.
