Firefighters using breathing apparatus rescued two people Thursday night from a burning factory in England’s West Midlands.

Six fire crews from Brierley Hill, Oldbury, Haden Cross, Stourbridge and Tipton responded to the fire first reported at 8 p.m. in Brierley Hill, the West Midlands Fire Service reports via Twitter.

Thick plumes of smoke could be seen billowing from the roof of the premises, the Express and Star reports. The fire was brought under control within an hour.

“Crews continue to extinguish the fire which involves 70% of the factory,” the WMFS Facebook page reports.
