Michigan Firefighters Extinguish Roof Fire at Cereal Plant

A fire in a cereal dryer spread to the roof of the Posts Consumer Brands factory Wednesday afternoon in Battle Creek, Michigan.

At about 2:41 p.m. firefighters responded to the plant after a report of a roof fire. Firefighters traced the origin to a room on the fifth floor with the burning cereal dryer.

No injuries were reported in the fire, local media states.
