A vacant five-story warehouse undergoing demolition broke into flames Friday morning in Louisville, Kentucky, the Louisville Division of Fire reports.

Shortly before 5 a.m., firefighter arrived to find heavy fire coming through the windows on the upper floors. The fire eventually required a two-alarm response with more than 70 firefighters and 15 pieces of fire apparatus on the scene.

Hindering firefighting operations were the size and structural integrity of the building, contents and debris inside, limited access and a heavy volume of fire, the Division of Fire reports.

No civilians or firefighters were injured. Firefighters are expected to remain at the scene throughout the day.

Arson investigators are working to determine the cause.
