Four rail tanker each carrying 65 kiloliters of diesel derailed and caught fire in India's Prakasam district Thursday morning, according to the Indian Fire Service.

One kiloliter is equal to 220 imperial gallons. The freight train derailed Surareddypalem and Tangutur on the Howrah-Chennai main line.

The train, which departed from Gangineni, jumped the tracks near a bridge over the Musi River. Forty-five other railcars in the train remained on the tracks.

No casualties were reported.

Five five tenders -- two from Ongole and one each from Nellore, Kandukur and Kondepi -- fought the flames for more three hours before gaining control.
