Firefighters managed to contain flames rapidly spreading through an enormous industrial complex to seven warehouses Saturday afternoon in Marmolejo, Spain.
At about 2 p.m. fire broke out in a portion of the complex used as a furniture factory, local media reports. Firefighters from nearby Andújar responded to the scene, joined by local volunteers. At the request of the Marmolejo police, farmer brought water using tankers from agriculture operations.
Several firefighters were treated for heat stroke during the fire.
According to the Marmolejo City Council Facebook page five of the warehouse buildings involved were destroyed while two received extensive damage.
