Two people died and three were injured when an overpressurized oxygen tank violently burst Monday night in an industrial district of Baqershahr, Iran, international media report.

The blast destroyed the walls of the Sepahan Boresh factory and significantly damage a factory next door, Saipa Press Company. Noise from the blast was heard in nearby Tehran.

Kahrizah’s district governor blamed the blast on “negligence in filling oxygen tanks,” according to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

The Sepahan Boresh factory is owned by the Iranian automotive manufacturer SAIPA.
