A boiler room fire erupts at a poultry processing plant Thursday in Arkansas.

Two workers suffered burns Thursday morning when fire broke out in a boiler room at chicken processing plant in southwest Arkansas, fire official report.

The fire sparked an explosion that destroyed the boiler room at a Tyson Foods plant in Nashville, located in Arkansas’ Howard County.

At about 1:30 a.m. a blast in a building apart from the main processing plant was reported to the Nashville Fire Department. Two workers managed to escape the blast but with burn injuries.

The fire was brought under control in about three hours, authorities report. Joining Nashville in the fire response was County Line, Center Point, Mineral Springs and Yancey.
