Two warehouses stocked with mineral water in plastic bottles caught fire Wednesday in southern Russia, a press release by the Ministry of Emergency Situations states.

At about 2:45 p.m., the fire at the October A Bottling Plant in the village of Suvorovskaya in Stavropol Territory was reported to EMERCON. Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and the threat of a roof collapse.

Three and a half hours later firefighters had contained the blaze. However, the two warehouses totaling 2,100 square meters of storage space and the finished product inside had been destroyed.

Sixty-two emergency personnel responded to the scene bringing 22 units of fire equipment, EMERCON reports.

By 7 p.m., the fire was extinguished with no injuries reported. The cause remains under investigation.
