A tanker truck erupted in flames in Michigan Saturday night.

An overturned tanker truck loaded with gasoline erupted in flames Saturday night on an interstate onramp in Bloomfield Twp., Michigan, local media report.

An estimated 13,500 gallons of fuel was involved in the disaster. Bloomfield police used Twitter to request that resident nearby shelter in place.

Bloomfield’s Interstate 75 business loop was closed in response to the fire.

“If you feel ill dial 911 immediately,” the Twitter page states.

Police posted an update about midnight reporting that the fire was out.
