Brief Fire in South Korea Factory Causes Massive Damage

An intense 40-minute fire at a textile factory Monday afternoon extensively damaged nearly 300 square meters of production space in South Korea, local media reports.

Property damage to the factory in the city of Pocheon located in far northeastern Gyeonggi province was estimated at 87.3 million won, fire officials state. Three separate buildings were damaged.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
