Seven fishing vessels under construction were destroyed by fire Wednesday at a shipyard in Bushehr, Iran, the latest in a series of industrial fires and explosions across the country.
The fire burned nearly five hours despite a major mutual aid response by regional firefighters, local media report. High winds hindered fire operations.
No casualties were reported.
A rash of fires and explosions have haunted Iranian industry in the last three months. Government officials concede that some may have involved sabotage.
