Flames spread through a warehouse at a metal recycling yard Tuesday at an industrial estate near Cupar, Scotland, local media report.
At least three separate explosions were heard as the fire raced through Aberhill Metals east of Cupar. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service responded to the scene at about 10:23 a.m., an agency spokesperson states.
Nine emergency vehicles including a command support unit responded to the scene. Authorities ordered nearby businesses evacuated shortly before noon as thick smoke drifted across the estate.
No injuries were reported.
