Food Processing Plant in Italy Consumed by Flames

Tons of canned tomato puree simmered prematurely Wednesday morning when fire broke out at a food processing plant between Angri and Sant’Antonio Abate in Italy, local media reports.

At about 4:30 a.m., firefighters arrived to find the plant engulfed in flames. Portions of the building appeared ready to collapse.

Three hours into the blaze, firefighters were still not ready to declare the fire under control.
