Massive Plastics Recycling Plant Fire Reported in Greece

Fire broke out Saturday morning at a plastics recycling plant in southeastern Greece, local media report.

Firefighters arrived with seven emergency vehicles at the plant located in Metamorfosi, nine kilometers north of Athens. The lengthy fire has made the stability of the structure doubtful, fire authorities said.

Along with fire trucks, water tankers were dispatched to the fire scene. Two helicopters were also called into action.
