Two people died and many were injured in an explosion Saturday morning at an agricultural products storage site in East China's Shandong Province, local media report.
The blast occurred about 9:30 a.m. in Jining, an important inland port. Early reports indicate that an electrical fire connected with local woodcutting somehow triggered the explosion that shattered windows and collapsed ceiling over a wide area.
Witnesses disagree as to whether there was one explosion or two. Police quickly cordoned off the area.
