A large fire followed an explosion Tuesday morning at a salvage yard in St. Paul, Minnesota, local media report.

At about 11:27 a.m., firefighters were notified of a fire at Metro Metals Recycling, a recycling company dealing in scrap metal. Responders arrived to find a massive cloud of black smoke rising from the facility.

“Crews are working to extinguish the fire in a large debris pile, preventing it from extending to any structures,” the St. Paul Fire Department Twitter page states.
