Two bored middle school students playing with a spray can of flammable insecticide and a lighter stand accused of a textile factory fire August 5 in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, local media report.

The fire in Ichinomiya swept through 3,400 square meters in only 10 minutes, TVBS reports. Then it touched off the factory building and a warehouse.

Authorities report that the two students were using the insecticide to kill bees while trespassing on factory property. As an added treat, the boys ignited the insecticide as it left the aerosol can.

The stunt set fire to stack of pallets doing this. The fire soon spread to the factory building.

Since the two boys involved are under 14 they can not be held criminally liable under Japanese law.
