Fire broke out Saturday night in a plant room at a turkey processing plant in eastern England, local media report.

Shortly before midnight Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service responded to a fire at the Bernard Matthews processing plant in Great Witchingham. The fire erupted in a room dedicated to electrical and mechanical equipment isolated from the main production area.

Thirteen fire crews from communities across Norfolk County responded to the scene to quickly extinguish the fire. However, the company has announced that some production will be moved to other plants until repairs are made.
