An injured worker at Silberline Manufacturing in Pennsylvania is loaded for transport to a burn center Wednesday.

A fire Wednesday afternoon at a plant in eastern Pennsylvania specializing in aluminum effect pigments left one worker badly burned, local media report.

At about 2:48 p.m., a mutual aid response was dispatched to a two-alarm fire at Silberline Manufacturing in Rush Township. The burned worker was transported by ambulance to the burn center at LehighValley Hospital in Salisbury Township.

Silberline has manufacturing and sales locations worldwide, including North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
