Four people were treated by Orange County (Florida) Fire Rescue Wednesday morning in a hazardous material incident at the Stanton Energy Center, a power plant located in the southeast part of the county, the OCFR Facebook page reports.
“Command believe the hazmat has been isolated,” the Facebook page states. No other information was immediately available.
The coal-fired power station generated up to 2,000 megawatts joined with natural gas and solar power units on site. Owner OUC is the second largest municipal utility in the state.
