A worker injured Friday morning in a fire at an Ohio plant received treatment at the scene, local media report.

The plant, Mantaline Corporation, specializes in seals and paints that stretch to deal with stress. At 8:42 a.m., welding work was being done on a door at the plant in Mantua Township when sparks ignited a nearby machine. Flames also spread to a pallet loaded with cardboard.

With automatic sprinklers helping to contain the fire responders were able to gain control within 20 minutes.

The extent of damage is still being accessed.

High Street, a main throughfare in Mantua, was closed to traffic for more than two hours.
