Fire broke out at a South African factory Monday morning near Cape Town.
At 11:28 a.m., witnesses reported a building burning in Beaconville. Firefighters with the City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Services contained the flames by 1:15 p.m. and extinguished them by 2:25 p.m., Independent Online reports.
Assisting at the scene were firefighters from Epping, Bellville, Goodwood and Belhar, local media report.
One person suffered second-degree burns to his leg and arm. The building has been determined to be structural unsound.
