A fire Thursday morning at a textile plant in eastern Pakistan continues to burn after 12 hours.
Fire officials initially dispatched 15 fire trucks to the emergency in Faisalabad, local media report. However, a second fire in the city’s Tada Market drew equipment and firefighters away from the textile plant fire.
Sections of the textile factory’s roof have collapsed, making it dangerous for firefighter to enter the structure. Factories in the surrounding area are being evacuated as a precaution.
No injuries have been reported at the textile plant fire.
