Fire erupted Thursday morning at a garment factory in northwestern South Korea specializing in man-made fibers, leaving one firefighter injured.

At about 6:39 a.m., the Incheon Fire Department dispatched firefighters to the manufacturing plant. Workers safely evacuated the plant with no personnel injuries reported.

Equipment on scene included one helicopter, 43 emergency vehicles and 109 firefighters. Extinguishment followed in slightly more than two hours.

Fire officials suspect that an air cleaner filter in the plant’s drying operation ignited and burned.
