Three people died and at least a half dozen injured in an explosion in a fireworks warehouse Sunday in northern India.
Police expect the death toll to rise once the wreckage is cleared, local media report.
The blast occurred in Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and was loud enough to be heard more than two kilometers away. Smoke and the odor of gunpowder blanketed the community after the blast.
All three of the fatalities died en route to the hospital.
