Smoke overwhelms the skies Wednesday above Kukas, India.

No injuries were reported in a massive fire Wednesday afternoon at a motorcycle factory in northern India.

At about 12:30 p.m., fire broke out at the Royal Enfield factory in Kukas, Jaipur. With help from at least 20 fire tenders, the fire was brought under control with a few hours.

Royal Enfield issued the following statement:

A fire incident occurred at Royal Enfield’s Transit Stockyard facility at Kukas, Jaipur. All manpower and personnel have been evacuated from the area and emergency protocols have been followed. There has been no harm or injury to personnel working at the facility. The fire was in a small section of the warehouse, and the team immediately worked with local police and fire department authorities to bring the situation to inventory is negligible. The building and inventory is adequately insured. The incident will not have any adverse impact on the company’s operations. The cause of the incident will be investigated, and the company will work with local authorities to assess this. Information and updates will be shared.
