A massive industrial fire broke out Thursday morning in southeastern China.

Huge clouds of smoke rose from a metal structure manufacturer Thursday in southeastern China. No casualties were reported.

At about 11:15 a.m., the fire erupted in downtown Fuzhou, Fujian Province, drawing many spectators. Authorities dispatched 110 firefighters and 20 emergency vehicles to the fire scene, local media report.

By 2 p.m., firefighters contained the fire and were conducting rescue effort to reach anyone trapped. As well as damage to the factory, the fire destroyed a package delivery business next door to the factory.

Other factories located nearby were also threatened by the flames.

Authorities are investigating to determine a cause of the blaze.
