A chemical plant factory explosion killed two people and injured six more Wednesday night in western India.

At 2:40 a.m., a shattering blast ripped through the factory in Maharashtra’s Raigad district, NDTV reports. Fatalities include a 32-year-old woman whose husband and three children were among the injured.

Emergency personnel transported the injured to a city hospital for treatment.

Authorities report that the fire is under control. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
