Fire spread through a refrigerator factory Sunday morning in central Bangladesh, doing extensive damage to machinery and inventory, local media report.
At about 10:45 a.m., fire broke out on the second floor of the three-story Konka refrigerator factory in Narayanganj near the capital city of Dhaka. The fire soon spread to the other floors.
With a mutual aid effort by 12 firefighting units, the blaze was brought under control within 4½ hours. No official determination as to cause has been made.
Heat damaged every window thought the manufacturing complex, New Age News reports.
