Firefighters used breathing apparatus to enter a burning factory Monday night in the English East Midlands.

Shortly after 8 p.m., fire broke out on the third floor of the Plater Production factory in Glossup, Derbyshire. The company specializes in drying service to the chemical industry.

According to the Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Facebook page, five fire appliances and a special aerial ladder platform were dispatched to the factory. Crews were assisted by colleagues with the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.

Responders brought the fire under control in about 80 minutes. However, fire authorities report that personnel are expected to remain on site throughout the evening.
