CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

 

You’re invited to join us for the 2020 Industrial Fire World Conference & Exposition Powered By iFIRE International. 

 

Founded in 1985 by David White, Industrial Fire World (IFW) has served as the leading resource for real-time safety updates and industry expertise while connecting industrial fire and emergency response managers with products and services used to support them in fire protection and emergency response.

 

After a 10-year absence, the Industrial Fire World Conference & Exposition will be relaunched where it all began, in Houston, Texas at the Westchase Marriott.  This conference will include presentations presented by local, national and international industry experts focusing on response safety, operational tactics, risk management, safety compliance, detection and suppression technologies, high profile incident reviews to name a few.

 

The exposition will include opportunities for LIVE product demos including apparatus displays, large scale equipment demos, UAV flights and much, much more.  Attendees will have the opportunity to interact directly with the vendors while participating in product demonstrations featuring the latest tools & technologies being employed in the industrial fire & rescue market.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. All submissions must be received by February 21, 2020 at 5:00 pm PST
  2. Instructors may submit up to three presentations for consideration
  3. Each submission must include:
    • Instructors full name
    • E-mail address
    • Phone number
    • Organization/Department your representing (if any)
    • Rank or position
    • Presentation title
    • Detailed presentation description – this will be reviewed by the Program Planning Committee during the selection process.
    • Presentation abstract (50-75 words) to be published in the conference program. The presentation abstract should provide an overview of what attendees can expect to learn after attending your presentation.
    • Instructor bio – no more than 75 words
    • Instructor headshot image (No selfies) high-resolution jpeg image required

 

Important Dates

Deadline for submission: February 21, 2020
Notification of acceptance: March 13, 2020

 

Program Planning Committee:

The Program Planning Committee will meet in late February to review/select presentations for the 2020 Industrial Fire World Conference & Exposition.  Notifications for speakers/instructors will be sent out immediately following.
