Responders extinguished a Tuesday morning fire at a Windsor, Ontario, stamping plant within an hour of arrival, the Windsor Fire and Rescue Service reports.
Flames broke out in cutting fluids used at the Central Stampings plant, the WFRS Twitter account states. Firefighters arrived to find thick smoke throughout the facility.
Employees swiftly evacuated the facility with no injuries reported.
“WFRS investigator attending Central Stampings to deter the origin and cause of the industrial fire,” the WFRS Twitter account reports.
Stamping is the process where a tool and die surface forms sheet metal into the shape required.
