Nearly 15 acres of plastic pallets are burning in Stockton, California, in a five-alarm fire at a tomato processing plant.
One firefighter has been transported to the hospital with heat exhaustion, the Facebook page for the Stockton Fire Department states.
At about 8:30 a.m., fire was reported at the R&B Foods packing plant. Although firefighters managed to protect the factory, the burning pallets are raising a tremendous column of smoke.
The plant is owned Miskan America, makers of Ragu and Bertolli brand sauces.
