A firefighter suffered injuries when a wall collapsed during a textile factory fire Monday in Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The firefighter was hospitalized overnight for observation, SM Noticias states.
The fire started shortly after 2 p.m. at the Texfibra factory in the city of Villa Lynch. Firefighters from San Martin and Villa Ballester responded to the scene.
As a precaution, neighboring homes were evacuated in case the fire spread.
Authorities are investigating whether Texfibra was authorized to operate during the COVID-19 lockdown, SM Noticias states.
